The View From The Top

I once took a trip to the very top of the world. The highest point on the earth that any man or woman has ever been to. From there you can see hundreds of other mountain peaks because you are at the same elevation that commercial jet airplanes fly. The trip was easy and actually didn’t take me long at long. I didn’t really feel too much of the cold or oxygen deprivation that you would think you would at that altitude. Fortunately, I didn’t suffer any injuries or threats to my health and since I was alone, there was no one else to worry about. And most exciting was the fact it didn’t……. Coaches Needed

Posted by Jordan | Posted in Uncategorized | Posted on 02-25-10

I am always amazed when you consider professional athletes who are paid millions of dollars a year and perhaps have been in the profession for years, that there is always a coach there to help guide, motivate and correct their mistakes. You may have observed however, that there are many different coaching styles exhibited at all stages of the game from public schools to the highest levels of professional sports.  Some have a leadership style that is called in your face and that is exactly where they are.  It’s confrontational and shows what some might term a tough love (Bobby Knight).  While others utilize a different style of motivation and are seen as low-keyed Read the rest of this entry »

Now Is The Time

Posted by Jordan | Posted in Government, Patriotism, Uncategorized | Posted on 02-20-10

Do you remember when your parents would talk about the way it was when they were young? I was recently talking with my dad about his school days and he was telling me about how he learned to type on an old Royal typewriter as a young boy in Junior High School. CEOs, of course, gain nothing by saving.  They need to put money to work or pay it out to shareholders.  So unless the economy scares them again, expect companies to start unleashing their moolah.  In other words: Brace yourself for a Read the rest of this entry »

Simple Thoughts for 2010

Posted by Jordan | Posted in Uncategorized | Posted on 01-05-10

Think about this simple thought as it applies to all aspects of our lives, i.e. spiritual, mental, temporal, physical, relationships, etc..

2010 is going to be 1 of 3 things to us all.

1. It will either be the SAME (because we don’t see the need for change and take action to make the necessary changes)or

2. It will be WORSE (because we don’t see the need to change and we get left behind by others in their development) or

3. It will be BETTER (despite the economic conditions and our own challenges WE can take control of our lives and make it even better than 2009 and great start to the NEW DECADE
