You should be aware that we have been warned by some very credible individuals. Charlie Munger, who was Warren Buffet’s longtime business partner, just came out and declared that “IT’S OVER”. Our house of cards, the U.S. economy, that has been built upon a shaky economy is now ready to collapse and fall all around us. Wow – talk about depressing.
I guess we can just go on with our lives and go down with the ship like a bunch of rats on a sinking ship or….. Read the rest of this entry »

I am always amazed when you consider professional athletes who are paid millions of dollars a year and perhaps have been in the profession for years, that there is always a coach there to help guide, motivate and correct their mistakes. You may have observed however, that there are many different coaching styles exhibited at all stages of the game from public schools to the highest levels of professional sports. Some have a leadership style that is called in your face and that is exactly where they are. It’s confrontational and shows what some might term a tough love (Bobby Knight). While others utilize a different style of motivation and are seen as low-keyed Read the rest of this entry »

My father who is a student of psychology, having received his graduate degree in psychology has always formed his perception of behavior and parenting skills based upon that foundation.
The other day, after a family gathering, he and I were talking and he shared with me his observations of my son Wyatt. He said that he had observed Wyatt, not yet in preschool, exhibiting behavior while playing with some of his little cousins Read the rest of this entry »
Do you remember when your parents would talk about the way it was when they were young? I was recently talking with my dad about his school days and he was telling me about how he learned to type on an old Royal typewriter as a young boy in Junior High School. He said that he learned to type 52 words per minute by seeing how fast he could pound out the sentence. “Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country”, over and over. Although I was impressed by his typing prowess, I was more impressed by the thought behind those words…now is the time.
If you have been following me for any length of time, you have discovered that I am very passionate about a number of Read the rest of this entry »
If you have watched the news, read a newspaper, picked up any business magazine, you are aware the U.S. dollar is weak, and becoming weaker every day. For this reason, it would be wise to look at the global market place when selecting the business model that you wish to build and develop with a network marketing business. Why not take that same “global market place” concept and apply it towards your own home-based business? Or at the very least, weigh that as part of your decision making process when selecting your business partner. Just imagine how great it would be to have people on your global team working for you while you sleep and waking to see that your team is building in Asia, South America and even places like Iceland. Consider the idea of building a truly global business and leveraging yourself over the entire globe.
Now this is much easier said than done, but if that becomes something you want to consider as a criteria for your future wealth Read the rest of this entry »
I come from a family with strong faith and family values and as I grew up I remember hearing my church leaders instruct us by saying, “This is a teaching moment”. I know my father would try to take advantage of those moments as well by seizing upon the opportunity to teach me and my teenage brothers a ‘life lesson’ hoping that the little window of opportunity, when our minds and ego’s were open to new ideas would in some miraculous way be receptive to this new concept and it would emblazon itself in our minds, never to be questioned again. I knew he would feel that he had taught us a life lesson and we were bound to pass it along to our own children as well. Perhaps out of frustration and a Read the rest of this entry »
If you are in the network marketing profession, how does one ‘hedge your bets’ on the future while our own U.S. economy is struggling and having such a direct affect on those of us who are living the ….dream?
As one network marketing leader who currently lives in Beijing with his wife and son, said, “Fortunes are going to be made from international expansion in the coming years,” says Shawn, “but many Americans don’t think about it. The truth is, anyone can Read the rest of this entry »

Have you ever turned up the volume on your radio while driving in the car and rocked out with the upbeat music…..feeling like you were a rock star? Have you ever blasted the stereo while at home while cleaning up the house, the garage or yard? Do you remember that burst of energy you felt when the upbeat music sparked your psyche? This is the power of emotion.

Do the hours in your day seem to slip by so fast that you catch yourself saying, “where did my day go?”
You may be trying to build a part-time business while working at a full-time job. You may be a single parent trying to accomplish it all. You may be a college student trying to work part-time to keep food on the table.
Have you noticed that if you need someone to get a job done, it is best to ask a busy person? Even though all of us have 24 Read the rest of this entry »
